Because we resize every image to the exact size of the tank, we don’t just stretch them or shrink them, this means the background will sit perfectly on every size tank that we offer in our size chart, and any custom sizes. Basically from 20cm width to 2.5m width.

Where do I apply the background?

Your background from fishtanks.store is applied picture face forward, requiring no adhesive to the back outside glass of your aquarium.

When should they apply their background?

You should apply your background as soon as you get it. Or any other time. They are reusable, removable, and easily stick a 2nd and 3rd time without adhesive. They are static.

How do they apply a background?

Backgrounds from fishtanks.store are easy to apply. You simply remove the backing paper, peel away the top corner of the shield paper over the image side and stick to the corner of your tank, peeling away the shield paper as you stick the picture side of the image to the glass.

By spraying the glass with some soapy water before application, makes it easier to move the background around getting it perfectly in place. Any air bubbles can be removed with a plastic card.

Large-sized backgrounds from Fishtanks.store come cut into smaller pieces, making them easier to install. This also means your background has no creases. The pieces are numbered to make it easier to create the correct formation.

How Long Does It Take To Get My Background?

Once Aquarium Background Clings are ordered and paid for, I pass the order onto our print partner, there is a printer in the country you reside in. Printing takes up to 7 days generally, then posted straight to your door. Tracking number will be emailed once it becomes available.

This system is called print on demand. It is the best model for this type of business, due to the huge amount of images and sizes available to you. As you can image, many images sell as one offs so it really is the only sustainable way for me to run this, brand-new business.

** The 2nd offer will be a subscription to our design club on a monthly basis, where you are billed each month for your new background, on the first of the month as an example, your background is also posted out to you on the first of the month. For every 6 months you stay subscribed to the club, you get billed for the 7th background but you get your 8th background at the same time for free. So you still get billed on the 7th month but you get an extra background free.

You are able to cancel your subscription anytime, however you need 6 recurring months to get your free background on the 7th month making background number 8 free.
