Aquarium Content Creators Must Use Video
Are you an aquarium content creator, or thinking of becoming one? If so, you must have realised that the only way people want to consume content these days is by video. They may do a quick Google about something, short facts or tips come up in the search and if that doesn’t suffice then the next go to is usually a long form video on YouTube.com.
If you’re creating videos on fish tanks or fish keeping. About fish tank decoration or aquarium water parameters, anything to do with the fish keeping hobby in general. I believe creating video using ai images and animations are now a must.
Aquarium Content Now Needs To Move Forward

AI Image and Video Creation is off the charts. Just look at the hues and colours in this coral image. It is simply stunning, becoming the norm, and people would rather look at stunning images than talking head video. I know I would.
Aquarium Content Creators Mostly Use Video
Aquarium content creators mostly use video as their way of sharing information about fish and aquariums, however, most of the aquarium content is solely focused on the creators’ own aquarium. They call these videos talking head videos. The creator speaks to the camera, and shows footage of his aquarium for examples.
Is this enough in 2025? I really don’t think so. Peoples attention spans are getting shorter and shorter. It’s my belief that stories need to be told to be able to keep retention high.
Fish Tank And Fish Keeping Content Creators

That’s my opinion anyway. If you think otherwise would love to hear in the comments.
When the sky is the limit for images and animated video creation, it only makes sense that the aquarium content creators need to keep moving with the times. People giving great information, turning that information into gorgeous short and long form video, will have to eventually knock the old school creators out of the park with audience retention.
Long Form Video Content
Well that’s my exact go to pattern. Gone are the days when we would type in a search and look for the first blog posts that came up, hoping that would answer our question for us. The trouble with that method, since at least 2009, when I started making content, the blog posts had to be so long.
Page One On Google Or Don’t Bother
Long for the audience to read, and very very long for the writer to write. This was the only way you had a chance of having your post rank for the keywords, by Google. If your not on the 1st page of results from the serps, you wouldn’t be seen. May as well not have even written an article, let alone one about Aquarium Content.
So Why Bother Writing A Blog Post?
The thing about blog posts is that the search engines aren’t the only way people find them. Thanks to many other platforms, posts are able to be promoted and because of this people still come and read those posts. But do you think you still need to have the written blog posts up on your site or why not only post video content?
Good Question Why Not Just Post Videos?
I really can’t say that I have investigated that question. In my point of view, people who love to write, like myself will always want to write, and hope people will never want to stop reading blog posts. If they did stop reading them, I’m sure the die hard writers among us will still keep on writing. But the other side of the coin now is, just writing really isn’t enough. People want to watch video and to keep up with your audiences needs, your going to have to start producing video content.
My First Short Form Video
This was my first short form video content piece. As of now it’s had 388views. Not great in comparison to how many views some videos get, but much more than a blog post that I might add to my site. So that really does make it easy to see that videos are the way to go.
I had made some long form videos as well. I feel they were ok but they didn’t perform well for what reason, I’m still learning and watching long form video to get a feel for the whole thing.
One Of My Fav Shorts of The Week
Videos like this are easy to make. You just have to have been watching the long form, or probably in this case with a famous person it would have been much easier to find this clip to create a short of.
Ben Stiller Got Quite The Surprise
Turns out, Ben wasn’t the one talking, apparently Kyrgios was using Ben as the example for the person who was commenting on the game. Poor Ben Stiller looked quite embarrassed, but took it like the good sport that he is.
My Next Short: Aquatic Animals You Didn’t Buy
This short got 189 views so far. I spent more time on this video, adding music, emojis and sound effects, however it hasn’t been as popular as my first video. We will have to see how it performs down the track, but once again, it is 189 views that I wouldn’t have gotten, when ranking over 100th on Google for my keyword searches.
My Final Short So Far A Comedy Sketch About A Goldfish
At 272 views, this video has performed only moderately; however, once again that’s 272 views more than any blog post I write, currently will get from the serps. This video was more effort to create, believe it or not, as I had to use footage I found for the comedian, and the other videos were created using ai prompts.
My Overview
So the future looks set, for the next couple of years at least, to be filled with videos. IF your not making them as a content creator your going to be totally left behind. With all the ai tools available now, they are quite easy to make. I myself am currently using Vexub.com however this may well change soon as I am testing the tools available, pretty much like everybody.
